Looking to the horizon

The year has kicked off with the summer we have all been waiting for. Plenty of time spent at the beach with the kids making meomories.

Our team celebrated with a team night hosted this month at Social Cooking. The team enjoyed an evening of cocktail making and a Masterchef challenge. It was great to see our staff come together creatively and competitively and a fantastic night was had all round, with a few sore heads the following morning.

Staff profile: Julie Riley - Office Manager Kaipara

Julie is based in our Mangawhai location. She has had a variety of office management, and accounts roles.

She is also a part time farmer and all-round animal lover. Julie has a plethora of animals on her lifestyle block and is not afraid of getting her hands dirty.

Project Focus: Kotahi Road, Mt Wellington - 10 Lot Subdivision

Following resource consent and building consent approvals we were engaged by our client to undertake various land surveying tasks in order to complete the building construction and subdivision process.

As with many brown field or redevelopment sites the site was heavily constrained, and the first task was to establish the site boundaries to allow for the retaining wall construction to be completed within the property boundaries.

Following this we undertook the civil drainage set out and building set outs, as well as providing a survey certificate to confirm that the buildngs had been set out in accordance with the approved plans.

Once the buildings exterior had been constructed we returned to the site to confirm that the buildings height in relation to the boundary had been constructed in accordance with the consented drawings.

The final step was to complete the legal survey plan, in order to allow for the new titles to be created.

As part of the legal survey we assisted with the 223 and 224c certification to confirm that all the conditions of the subdivision consent had been meet and complied with.

Another 10 homes ready for their future owners.
