Local Barfoot and Thompson real estate agent Bridget Selby engaged Horizon Surveying and Land Development to realise the subdivision potential of her rural Mangawhai property.
Under the Environmental Benefit Subdivision provisions of the Kaipara District Plan, 2.5ha of native bush was identified on Bridget’s property as worthy of protection and Horizon was able to successfully create three secluding bush sites from its protection, leaving a 3.7ha balance site for Bridget to build her forever home.
The Horizon team found it a pleasure to work with Bridget, helping her realize her dreams while securing the permanent protection of a Department of Conservation Level 1 recognized remnant of native forest. This achievement not only fulfilled Bridget's personal aspirations but also ensured the preservation of a valuable ecological area for future generations.
This project exemplifies the powerful impact of thoughtful land development and the importance of protecting our natural heritage. Horizon Surveying and Land Development remains committed to delivering outstanding service and results, contributing positively to both personal projects and environmental conservation.
